Hi Guys,

I'm about to sell my alloys but have no idea what they are worth. They're in excellent condition with good bridgestone SO-2s and Leven trim cap locks. Bell Hill want £250 +vat PER RIM without tyre but refurbished.

That sounds like a rediculous price but does anyone have any thoughts as to how much my set are really worth?

Cheers in advance

I've seen sets go for silly money… and at £250 per rim, that IS silly money.

Saw a set advertised recently (not here) for £600 and they're still for sale…. I offered the guy £400 and he said no...

If you ding one wheel (and so only need one) you'd probably rather pay £250 for one than £400-£500 for a full set. Some would buy the full set and keep three spare (well, 2 + 1 I guess) but others not so flush would shell out for the single wheel.

So sets of wheels can be worth less than the sum of their parts. You could try selling them individually?!

Saw a set of 4 500 Wheels, all 16s with rubber go for £820 on Ebay. It is possible a set could go for £600, although I too think this is silly money.

Two undeniable facts:-

A). They were standard fitment on the top of teh range Griff and Chimera.

B). You can't get them new anymore.

Therefore the prices will creep up and people will pay if they want genuine wheels.

They are VERY rare, both sets went to people with damaged rims who very happy to get original wheels.

What are the rim widths of the standard wheels. I beliee they are the same width front and back, just different diameters.

Well aware, mate. Have you bought it yet? If so, when do you want to get together?

I just bought two as new front estorils with unused toyo zr rated T1-S fitted for £350 from an ebay seller. I thought that was pretty good personally seeing as I was going to buy those exact tyres anyway and my fronts had a few scratches on them.
From what I've observed the rears are worth £150 to £200 each depending on condition fronts maybe £80 to £130. All depends on the market though, e-bay would appear to be a good place to sell though.
