Electric power steering Well worth the effort
Discussion
I have now fitted electric power steering to my Griff not an easy job but with lots of help advice and illustrations posted on PH many thanks stevesprint and and a big thanks to TVR Beaver for getting the column welding done for me, I managed to do it over two weekends and had a quick drive in the car today. The steering is nice and light and feels very nice indeed especially when reversing out of my drive. I have fitted a simple in off switch to it so if it's too light at speed I can simply turn it off and it reverts back to manual steering if needed but hopefully the control unit I fitted will do this automatically as it's controlled by the amount of torque you put on the wheel. So parking should be very light and motorway should be less so.
All together I am very happy with it and a very worthwhile upgrade.

Very impressive work and thanks for the update on the Griff side
, puts me to shame.
Good Luck with the controller and please take it easy to begin with.

The big difference is I was just following instructions if I had to start from fresh and work it all out it would have taken a hell of a lot longer. I will take it easy with the first few runs especially at speed. I also need to get the front wheel alignment done as I changed the steering rack as mine had some play in it.

Does anyone know the best setting for this with pas
Cheers
