As above really ive noticed the dash clocks and dials are smetimes misting up slightly Griff is garaged though garage is not heated . I have sent off for some of those moisture absorbing pillow type bags was thinking one on the dash one on the switches next to gearstick . Never used to happen roof is watertight lid is mostly in the boot car left in garage sans roof most of the time .

Always used to do that on my wedge and then after a while they'd clear.

Never had the issue with my Griff.

I realise this isn't a very useful post but I don't think it's a sign of anything wrong.

Yes maybe its just getting damper in the garage and its getting into the inside of the dash , my damp eater bags have just turned up from amazon so ill put them in the car and see what happens .

My griff dials mist up. Use of long word now. The dials are not hermetically sealed and will mist if cold then warmed up quickly

Mine do the same - clear when in the garage, then after a short drive they mist up a bit, then it eventually clears as the heat gets right into them and decondensationz them. Longer word. I win wink

Another one here.... bizzarely only my temperature gauge steams up. Must be a direct link to the coolant laugh

It's one of those things that adds character. German built cars can only dream of such character.

I've thought for a long time my dials misting up was a sign the heater matrix was leaking and dripping water into the matrix unit which was then evaporated by the heater air and condensed inside the clocks.
After reading I'm not alone in having steaming up clocks perhaps the latter is true but not the leak. Which, perversely, is a nice thought !

One of mine has always misted up (Can’t remember which one at the moment) after running for a while. No water system leaks and the dial works fine.

Just another TVR quirk rolleyes. LOL
