Clutch question
Discussion
Evening all
I've just replaced my clutch release bearing on my Griff 500 with T5 box and I'm a bit confused.
The slave cylinder piston is spring loaded to always push out.
This in turn pushes the clutch release arm back which therefore pushes the release bearing forward against the pressure plate.
Therefore the release bearing will always be turning - although not under much load
I always thought that the release bearing was not in contact with the pressure plate unless the clutch pedal was pushed.
So whats wrong please?
My understanding or my clutch re-assembly skills?
Cheers Andy
