Hopefully someone has come across this before.
As well as the motor giving up the ghost, it also managed to snap the tube that bolts to the motor.
Has anyone replaced this? Can it be done without the dash out? Sods law only a few weeks to mot.

Never easy!

Did both on the Chim. Had to hacksaw a generous rectangle from the bulkhead to get a spanner on where the tube joins the 1st spindle (passenger wiper)..... in order to change it. Made sure to seal the whole area up properly after as it acts as the 'air box' for the heater. thumbup

Do you need any bits? I'll see what I have left in the morning. thumbup

Have you considered repairing the tube?

cheers guys.
had the dash out, and no access so as you say, hole in the bulkhead unfortunately.
There is not enough length poking through to repair or I'd choose that over cutting holes.

Thanks for the offer of parts. fingers crossed I will be ok as Adrian might be able to provide when motor is fixed.

Rain x for now lol.

I guess you've contacted Mr Venn then already as that would have been my suggestion.
