Maybe installing a temp. sat nav for trip to Italy. Need to tap into wire from diff . Does anybody know where this wire will enter the car - have no jack or axle stands to get underneath. Don't want to take dash out unless necessary. Thanks a lot.
without stands etc, i'd guess the feed to the Speedo would be the best place.
behind dash would do it,
not sure where it runs through...tunnel?
dash would be easier, check out the bible.
the speed sensor wires on my diff come traight up from diff and through the body coming up and running underneath the centre console. Undo the brackets behind each seat and lift the console up and peak and see if yours does the same.

Confirmed in central console, theres a connector there also, you could tap into !
Not very many sat navs like the standard speedo set up, much better to seperate, either magnetic or hall effect.
