Ordered a new high output coil from TVR Power yesterday and true to their word arrived safe and well this am. Well done TVR Power.

Trouble is, in contrast the rest looks really crap, so before you know it you'll be spending a fortune on the other bits!

Other problem is that it will highlight any deficiencies with the rest of the ignition system ... read £90 for a new ignition amplifier as it finally gave up the ghost once new mallory coil was on ...

Symptoms will be a cut in ignition on part throttle, worse when the car is at extremes of temp, cold or hot.

Has improved the car for me, but the rest of the ignition has got to be up to it to make it worthwhile, 8mm ignition leads etc etc ..
