I chat to Simon about these every time I ring. I was hoping for one for mayday bank holiday but I think it's a forlorn hope, now.

Yes. I've had the prototype on Wol, fitted well, leaves you with a useable boot with the hood in it. As I understand it, Simon is having trouble getting somebody to make the panels. I'm first in the queue for one, so get in line behind me.

But you hardly ever take the roof off now.

I've seen the prototype, and indeed it has been test fitted on the Chimaera.
Simon was not happy with an aspect of the design, so is reworking it accordingly.

Oi!, I'll have you know the roof came off Wol at my mum and dad's on the way home! Seeing as how the sun had come out. Anyway, I din't have a hang-over to clear.

It's not in the boot is it? Only this is where it's kept when removed, and I seem to remember you couldn't get in.

Never saw it at Pistonfest because they packed up on day one.
