passenger side window stuck

Help
The passenger side window is stuck in the down position. There is power to both feeds to the motor and you can hear it wanting to lower but not lift. My next step was to take off the door trim but the window is in the way of getting to the nuts to release the trim. Is there a way to release the window so i can get the pannel off.

I can't help with the window release thing - but it might be worth checking the window switch connections just in case? After all there are only two wires to the motor and if it wants to go down but not up that would suggest both connections are OK. Thw window switches should gently prise out.

Mine did this once, in fact often my windows appear to struggle to get back up, so I don't lower them to the very bottom. Sometimes they need a helping hand, ie a little pull whilst pressing the button.

When I lowered it too far once and I couldn't get a grab on the screen, I removed the speaker and could get my hand round to push it up whilst pressing the button.

Whilst doing that though I'd also be tempted to disconnect the block connector inside where the speaker lies. If there's been any water ingress this can actually stop the power supply to the motor. I cleaned mine then daubed a bit of grease around to protect it from water ingress in future.
