Until I get to pick up my new Griff on Friday... never has anyone looked at the weather forecast quite so frequently! Getting rather excited about my early Xmas pressie to myself!! 1999 Crystal Verde in really decent condition - happy days!!

If it doesn’t rain on pick up Day, drive home with the roof off and ask how to fit the targa into the boot as it’s a bit of a knack lol wink

Yes, it's the Kerridges car. Nearly didn't look at it because the colour didn't come over well in the photos but my o/h said he remembered seeing a friend's cerbera in that colour and it looked good. Glad I did as I liked it in the flesh. I'm gonna ask my hubby to help roof wise - he had a Griff as his daily driver for two years. I gather it's trickier than the Chimaera's. Had one of those for a while and the boot was huge. Anyway, forecast is promising so hopefully i shall be able to don a wooly hat and go roofless!

I picked my griff up 3 weeks ago & drove home to Essex from Birmingham, on the coldest, frosty day of the year so far (before the snow this week) was an eventful drive home but then driving a griff is always eventful... there was no way I was missing out on picking it up & having to wait for another day !!!

Good luck Saturday....

Getting the Griff targa in the boot even has instructions in the service book. As you say though woolly hat and enjoy the drive home smile

Ooh, I bet. You can't get tyres up to temp and you never feel sufficiently attached to the road. Hope it wasn't too traumatic. Fortunately/unfortunately (depending on weather), I don't have too far to go. I'm mainly hoping that the roads will be dryish and that yesterday's rain has washed some of the salt away. Anyway, I know the heater works 'cos I checked that one on the test drive!!

I drove that car a few weeks ago when the road was pretty damp and it felt very planted. As long as you are sensible you will be fine.

Shame it's not Ocean Haze wink but looked lovely on the FB pics. Good luck Gilly!

Take it easy over winter. Have you still got the Mustang?

Yes, still got the Mustang - having a few bits and bobs done over the winter, so he's not at home at the moment - the real oldies tend to need a reasonably constant maintenance program. I've also got a Porsche GT4. My others are my husband's cars.

Very nice addition to your impressive garage.
Accept for the old beetle on the left, that lot would make for a decent drag race....

My poor old 612bhp Carrera GT doesn't stand a chance - can I wait until the GT2 RS arrives in March? smile

Delighted for Gilly - in fact the Griff was my only car when we met all those years ago. I like to think it was my charm and good looks which won her heart, but maybe it was the car after all hehe
