Due to other works I have the chance to replace the airduct pipe at the back of the engine bay but I cant find the part.

Can anybody help identify it and have any advise on replacing it ? it just looks like its silicon'd in.

TIA

I've been having some exhaust fume issues and apparently this can become porous so may as well replace whilst the doing clutch and valley gasket.

Just need to know what to replace it with.

Just have a search on eBay there is plenty of flexible automotive tubing available.
Something like this not sure the diameter guessing at 3" but lots of different sizes available.
Single Ply

It is siliconed in place where it passes through the inner wings. On the drivers side, that is the end of the pipe, the vent above the drivers knee is effectively on the inner wing. On the passenger side, the pipe goes into the airbox and is attached with a large jubilee clip with awkward access. It is possible to undo it, but I looked at it and thought "that will be slightly awkward" (or similar) and decided I didn't need to remove that pipe after all.

Interesting , I am at the point off replacing mine but do not want the larger diameter so will be making some reduced ducts either side in alloy powder coated Matt black so the new hose will slide onto them will look better and give a bit more room at the back of the engine ? Still thinking about it though would be nice to see if anyone has improved on the original idea ?

I removed mine completely recently on a Chimaera but im guessing its roughly the same.
Its a pig to get out as its bonded in with what looks like sikaflex or similar, and contact adhesive.
I blanked the holes in the engine bay, i generally keep the heater directed to the window anyway so it does not really bother me.
I left the outlet duct on the passenger side leg area open, cant really see an issue with doing this.
