SE DASH VENTS

Hello.
Never having seen any in the “flesh” so to speak, am I correct in assuming that the air vents on an SE are taken from a Tuscan?
If so, are they the same size as the windscreen demist vents? From memory three different sized “eyeball” vents are fitted to the Tuscan.

I'm interested in this too as I want a custom dash created for my Griff with the black vents replaced with some of these. If anyone knows how to get hold of them I'd like to know.

I did the same thing with my dash a few years ago - its the brass coloured thing in the middle!
I got the vent from Bellhill and the pipe fitted with virtually no modification

I'm looking at options and there seems to be two different sizes - what diameter/size have you got in your dash do you know? I'm wondering if the Tuscan's had two different sizes? Thanks in advance!

Hi Lee

The diameter of the front bezel is 50mm and as far as I remember it’s only smaller behind the dash.
Apparently a normal Tuscan has a brass eyeball and an S has a silver one.
I would have preferred silver but obviously no one was crashing S’s at the time!

I use these Vents (silver) in my Chimaera. The diameter of the front bezel is app. 43mm.

Did buy some spares which are redundant now. The items are original TVR and never used.

I'd be interested but I wasn't the OP on this thread so I'll stand in line! I assume that they are the same as the approx 50mm units that Andy above has. I don't seem to be able to PM you but you should be able to message me? Cheers either way
