4.3 Thermostat

Just out of interest what is the ideal running temp of the thermostat for a 92 4.3BV. I fitted an alloy rad and it has transformed the car but the thermostat is now to cool for the right running temp.

I put a 82o LAND ROVER one in mine and also running an alloy rad, no probs....

82 is standard, you can also fit 78 and 76 deg stats. There are probably others too.

I thought that 74 was "standard" on the early Griffs. That's what I run in Summer in my 4.3 Wedge, got it from a main agent - stat., not the car.
