I'm so excited it's beyond, it's on thevtruck from HHC as I write, this is unbelievable.
If I was a billionaire there is no other car that I would rather have, and I never thought this was ever going to hapoen, it's all a bit unreal.
We're having a celebratory BBQ tonight, I think our neighbours were under the impression at one point that this car was a figment of our imaginations!

Thanks, I've been to a few East Kent TVR meetings, and I'm in the club, really nice bunch, looking forward to a few summer events.

You won't have time for a BBQ tonight, you will be giving the neighbours a quick run up the road, and going off to buy milk at a shop 15 miles away in case the local garage doesn't have any.

Once you have done all that, pop over to the East Sussex meet this evening. Not that far from Kent.

Ha Ha! Fantastic!
ETA 1 Hour 10 mins.
Girlfriend just got back from supermarket, with drinks and BBQ materials.
I think I'm just going to park it in front of the garage, and familiarise myself with the controls etc. Our garage is at the rear of our house next to the BBQ patio, so we can just sit and admire it.
We're off on our first drive to Dungeness and the marsh tommorow, really looking forward to that..

thumbup

Admire it.
Photograph it.

Spend all evening burning the meat as you keep getting distracted.

Be prepared for it getting under your skin and becoming part of the family and a way of life.

That made me smile as in 18 years of Griff ownership I still had no bloody idea what the heater panel switches did! (it reminds me of that awful Stallone film Demolition Man with the three seashells - "He doesn't even know how to use the three seashells!")

getmecoat

Ps, enjoy Griff ownership!

Heres mine:

If I had the choice I'd swap the Lightning all day for the Griff, may be a slight price difference.

Who said it hasn't got a proper boot?
I carry all sorts of crap around in mine and will be going to LM Classic in 2 weeks with camping gear easily stowed in the boot.
OK, you can't get a set of golf clubs in there, but imagine how damned ugly it would be if you took our car and redesigned it so you could get golf clubs in the boot whistle

oh, PICS PLEASE !!!!!
