Knocking at the back!
Discussion
I have a slight knocking from the back of my Griffith which I was hoping somebody might be able to explain. It seems to come from near the rear axle and is noticable at slower speeds on bumpy roads. I have checked the exhaust and it does not appear to be catching anything. Before anyone says it, there is nothing in the boot as my first action was to take everything out including the space saver wheel.
I will get my overalls on tonight and investigate! The anti-roll bar had been high on my list of culprits and the idea of a loose door is interesting though there is no sign of wear in the door reveal from movement. I suppose this could be checked by applying some pressure to the door whilst the knocking is occuring. Cheers.
