‘93 Griff 500 dash knobs
Discussion
Thanks! Always wanted a Griffith since I rode in one maybe 15 years ago and never forgot that experience. Had a ‘69 Vixen S2 but still needed to scratch the V8 itch, and so when the 5.0 cars came eligible for import, I had to pounce...
As far as I know, it is one of only three 5 litre Griffiths in the United States and crazy enough, both of the other ones are also here in Cincinnati! There are a couple of 4 L and 4.3 L cars here in the US, maybe less then a dozen of those total. Of course the best part is that nobody knows what the hell it is unless they are a diehard car enthusiast.
Now I will say, yesterday we had to run to Home Depot (it’s like a big box home improvement store) and low and behold, when we walked out this was parked near us...how often would that ever happen in the US...never! LOL

So far so good, I’ve had the car about two weeks now and have been enjoying it immensely.
The only “bummer“ part of the whole deal was that when the envelope containing all of the service history and V5 document and the owners handbook and spare key fobs was sent over to me, it was apparently slit open at US customs and inspected and half ass resealed with scotch tape and so when it arrived at my doorstep, the hole where they’d slit it open was reopened and gone were the owners handbook and spare fobs. Thank god at least the service history file and V5 made it! I would have no idea where to begin as far as starting a claim, whether it would be with the Royal Mail Service or the US Postal Service or customs or what, not to mention I don’t know what they could even do as far as trying to make me whole except perhaps cut me a check to buy a new secondhand handbook and maybe two new fobs, but I digress...
I’ve got a Griff!!
