Hi
Need locking washers for my griff 500 exhaust manifold bolts
Looking at the sizes m8 too small and m10 look to large
What has anyone used

I used Act speak to Tim , worth getting the arp manifold bolts as well in my opinion

I must have used NL10-M10 as you say M8 are too small with ARP bolts that I already had.

ARP bolts do not work with nordlocks. The washers work by biting into the bolt and flange surfaces. ARPs are too hard. I've managed to get them to bite by centre popping the ARP mating surface so that the nordlocks have something to latch onto

My '92 Griff 4.3 has 3/8 BSW bolts. (I think all Rover based engines have 3/8 Whitworth threads) I used 3/8 Nordlocks on mine a couple of years ago. So far they have worked well--no problems. I used new high-tensile bolts with 3/8 Norlocks.
