I used Act speak to Tim , worth getting the arp manifold bolts as well in my opinion
ARP bolts do not work with nordlocks. The washers work by biting into the bolt and flange surfaces. ARPs are too hard. I've managed to get them to bite by centre popping the ARP mating surface so that the nordlocks have something to latch ontovoso1 said:
My '92 Griff 4.3 has 3/8 BSW bolts. (I think all Rover based engines have 3/8 Whitworth threads) I used 3/8 Nordlocks on mine a couple of years ago. So far they have worked well--no problems. I used new high-tensile bolts with 3/8 Norlocks.
Best regards
