7" headlights on the cheap!

Got it in my head that someone told me the lamps to use are Golf Mk1 ?

I thought this may have been because the adjusters are at the back making them accessable when fitted, unlike the common Lucas 7" units (Earlier TVR's, Land Rovers, Classic Mini etc. etc.) which are adjusted from the front.

BUT, looking at images on Ebay the Golf ones also look to be adjusted from the front so once the perspex cover is bonded back on you're stuffed!


Long story short, can anyone confirm the headlights to use and can they be adjusted from behind.
