Hi All,
I am really struggling to find any original size tyres for my 99 Griff 500.
I've read a few posts on here, but they all seem to go off on a tangent.
Does anyone still make the 225/50/15 and 245/45/16?
If so, where could I buy them please?
The nearer to Milton Keynes the better!
thanks in advance.

Hi , ive been looking for the same sizes quoted by op and the 16inch rears are available on flea bay and between 6 months and a year old from manufacture . The fronts I cant find anywhere , but was thinking of going for rainsports at 205 as my Griffith is non PS . Any comments welcome
I was struggling earlier in the year to get tyres for the standard 15" front and 16" rears.
Hexham Horseless Carriages my local TVR dealer had Toyo T1R s both sizes in stock. Maybe an old pattern but they suit me fine.
Whenever I drive the Griffith it always seems to rain but I find the Toyos are OK . A much softer ride than the old Bridgestones.

Unsure of your plan from this, but if you are thinking of Toyos on one axle and something else on the other I would not. It will more than likely handle poorly.Pressures are a personal thing. Start at factory and if you don't like it then adjust. Some prefer lower, some higher. Different tyres react differently to the same pressure as well.
Personally, the T1R is now so outdated and wasn't great when new, my default is Uniroyal Rainsport 3 but they are getting on a bit now too.
Sizes, well you can find alternative sizes that give the 'same' circumference etc... so the speedo is still right. In my opinion TVR chose tyres to fit the 'arches' rather than being the right size for 'performance'.

Or Wheeler did a deal for 15’s as they were end of line old stock clear out, cheap
Power Steering I tend to run 21 front and 23 rear unless going on longer journeys.
Also on RS3 tyres.
Go by heat generated, if they are not getting warm too touch after a drive lower pressures might help warm them up a bit.
