Bridgestone SO2 tyre needed

Anyone got a Bridgestone SO2 205/50/ZR15 for sale, part worn or new.

It should be 215 on the front with standard rims (mine are Oz's) but someone has fitted 205's, nearside has a split in the tread.

That's unusual as well. What profile are they? Standard fronts are 205/55/15 or 225/50/15. I have heard of 215s leaving the factory but haven't seen any.

215/50/ZR15 is the size stated in my original TVR service manual.

It might be worth trying on the S forums as I believe my S3 had that spec tyre. I think I have one in my shed, unfortunately it's a got a nail hole near the tyre wall.

You never know. S3 had a 205/60 and 215/50 is a much smaller dia. but being TVR who knows.

If you have an emergency, I have a part worn flat spotted 205/55/15 S02pp that I saved 'just in case' I had a blow-out and needed to get the car back on the road in a hurry. I'm running different size wheels now so the tyre's no good to me but I'm too mean to throw it away. Yours if you collect it from Milton Keynes/St. Albans.

PS did I mention that it was severely flat spotted?

205 wide tyres were meant for the non power steering cars initially.But i've seen many on cars with PAS.

My old S02s have sat in the garden waiting to become moto-theme flower pots for over a year - can anyone say if they should be OK to re-use? I'll check sizes and tread depths. Yours if collected from Harrow.

PS: did I mentioned they're not flat spotted?

I have a pair of part worn 205/55/15 and a pair of 225/50/16 SO2s if that helps, I am loctaed in Salisbury. Would be pleased to shift them as I need to get the lawn mower out of the shed.

Mine are 205/55/ZR15 S02s with about 4.5mm of tread. They have sat in the garden for over a year, so they have mud, leave and bird poo on and in them. One has excessive wear on one edge due to tracking out, other is fine in that regard. Welcome to have one, but I'm in Harrow, Middlesex (NW London).

According to the handbook for my 1994 non-PAS Grif 500:
"Front 15" x 7J fitted with 205/55 ZR
Rear 16" x 7.5J fitted with 235/50 ZR"

Thanks for your offer of help but I'd like to keep both front tyres the same size.
Shame one is badly worn.

Looks like I might have to buy a couple of SO3's, best price I've had so far is £85 fitted, inc vat.

That's a good price for 215/50/15s. It's a rare size and I couldn't find any v or z rated ones.

Oh well, but there can't be too many of those left either and that's not a bad all in price. I'd snap them up.
