New disks and Pads

I have just bought some new Mintex pads (1144) and discs all round. Should I fit the new disks and pads at the same time or just the pads first to bed them in on the old discs, or change the disks & use the old pads for a few miles? Don't want that :eek: feeling when I first take it out!
What do you think? (Don't know what it says on the instructions because they haven't arrived yet).

All at the same time, otherwise you are only transfering the old worn imperfections/scores/grooves from old to new.

Never fit used pads on new discs, it don't make sense.

Like washing the car with a stone filled sponge.

Make sure you have an 7 & 8mm alan keys on a 1/2" socket before you start, the calliper mounting brackets are a bugger to get off

Okay, thanks chaps & I will follow the instructions to bed them in properly - heard that can make a big difference.

Bin the hex socket capscrews and use hex sets instead.
I've not checked your car profile so if you are replacing the standard discs (260mm?) with good aftermarket, you may be able to bin the caliper spacers too.
