My exhaust manifold has given up the ghost tonight, the 1st pipe on the pasenger side has totaly colapsed :yikes: caused a few problems getting home, must be an exhaust brake :hehe: Anyone got a nearside bank pre cat griff lyingaround?? or better still S/hand Act jobie :rolleyes:

Have you tried ringing Tim at ACT of Austecs he may have some spares left over from his upgrades.

Dont think there are many precat style ones around. I'd think its worth calling Trick at JP, he might be able to repair it & he always seems keen to check the alignment of his jigs - I guess there are not many with the smaller flanges that pass thru.

I have a set of pre-cat manifolds in the garage. Upgraded mine to stainless steel. From memory the nearside's OK with a crack to offside.

I've got both manifolds and "Y" piece for a pre-cat Griff 4.0 Ltre lying in my garage gathering dust. One manifold has a pin hole in it (flange) which I can get expertly welded (this was the excuse given to her indoors to have a new S/S one) the other one is fine as is the "Y" piece
Yours if you want it - gotta be worth a bottle of Irish

Plenty of shooting going on in Manchester and Liverpool according to the BBC news, but I thought there was enough in the Midlands. So much gun crime locally nowadays it hardly seems worth travelling!!

Made the jigs today however cannot find anyone to manipulate the tube 45.5mm back to square 1
ANYONE GOT A NEAR SIDE BANK I CAN HAVE ON THE CHEAP ? Until I can have some made ?
As I cannot get some made 3/4 weeks and then I go to spain for 3 weeks the damm car is gonna be off the road for 9 weeks .
