(92 GRIF 4.3) MANAGED TO CRACK BOTH DRIVING LIGHTS, HAVE BEEN SEARCHING THE INTERWEB AND HAVE FOUND BEST PRICE AT £48 EACH. SOMEONE MUST HAVE DONE ALL THE LEGWORK BEFORE SO ANY GUIDANCE ON THE BEST PRICED SUPPLIER WOULD BE APPRECIATED. ALSO REQUIRE STONE GUARDS (BIT LATE I KNOW) AND HAVE HAD NO LUCK SPOTTING ANYTHING SUITABLE.
Theres a couple of valeo codes on the alternative parts list on http://thegriffithpages.com.
I used amourfend to protect mine and they have done a great job.
Know others have used guards that can be brought from places like europa spares etc

what's "armourfend"?
Have looked everywhere for covers and cant get them in main stores unless you buy the lights to go with 'em.
Can get Cibie ones off a website for around a tenner a piece -forgot which one now, but just look up 'cibie' or 'hellas'. Cibie SC's on mine.

Armorfend is a bit like clear sticky back plastic.
I have carbo disks on my lights, and have not bust a lens since fitting them. However, before hand the lights were a consumable.
most TVR specialist / Dealers stock some solution for the griff lighting protection...

I bought some protectors from a guy who advertised them on here (classifieds). Can't find the e-mail details or can I remeber a date. They mould around the original light and are attached by putting the perspex under the rubber band jobbie. Don't even look like they are there.
They were £25 the pair. I have seen flat perspex disks which obviously do the job but they velcro on which looks poo.

I broke one within a few months of ownership and subsequently fitted the guards. The type I used were the solid Perspex disc type.
What a pain in the a**e these were. They were held in place by three pads of Velcro glued to both the lens and the disc. The glue used to come unstuck at least on one pad each week and often the Velcro just let go. After about 6 months of perseverance I gave up after loosing one for the umpteenth time and haven’t had any thing on now for years. Guess I’ll brake one this week now.

Ordered the daft white £12 a pair covers with the writing on today. Not out in the dark much on twisties anyway, and if they're good enough for lights on an old MGB or Escort or whatever, they're good enough for a modern classic. I'll whip em off when needed or pick up some clear ones one day.

Exactly what happend to the front end of my Griff at the hands of a Nova kiddy that thought it would be way cool to overtake a TVR...
Snag was it was on one of those bits of road where the council had tried to stick chippings down with tar the day before. I was doing about 10Mph at the time, he came past at about 45 d'oh, my screen and front end took a pasting. more white chips now that chiantti paint

Poor sod, Pebbles!! We had a laugh on friday when cruising along at 55 in a 70, just inside of another calm driver when, all of a sudden, from nowhere, one of the second fastest cars in the world came by and sat on the arse of the car outside us till he moved out of the way. He just HAD to overtake the Griff before reaching the roundabout 500 yds ahead.
As we caught up and pulled alongside the vehicle's Best Anticipatory Driver of 2005, I noticed he was also from a group who know no fear: A hooded teenage scally.

I emailed them and received a reply within 15 mins friday afternoon. They sent a list of griff parts including protector film for the driving lights at £10 for the pair (VAT on top I think and delivery).
