Sad though I am to have to admit it I think I am going to have to part with my original 4.3 BV. Suggestions on its value would be very much appreciated.

If fully a provenanced 4.3BV then I would assume it to worth a bit more than say a early 500, if not a lot more.
I personally would go to someone like James Agger for a professional pricing and or selling tbh.
They are rare cars and there is always someone that wants one, supply and demend and all that.

As per equivalent 4.3 + 10-15% I reckon.

i would agree, 4.3 + a good bit, depending on mileage. should be at a decent premium to an early 500 with similar miles...rarer, louder, probably faster!

Dont part with it. Sell anything else. Stop drinking expensive wines. Cancel club memberships and stay in watching telly instead. Just dont sell the Griff

My standard 4.3 with less than 30,000 miles FSH and all the bills MOT in superb condition fetched £13,300.

A genuine B.V in as good condition should see at least £15,500 IMO.

If its a Factory Bv and not a retrofit and in first class condition in a good colour and on a low milage then i recon around 18K, one went for £18500 not long ago i think James sold it.

wasn't there only 4 factory 4.3BV's produced?

Thats got to make it rare!! and worth more to a collector or TVR buff?

Not sure on the amount of 4.3BV cars made, I'm sure Steve Heaths griff/chim bible covers it, but I think there may have been a few more than that, although there are more now than left the factory . If you want a rare Griff then the 4.5BV is really rare .
