Belt tensioner pulley
Discussion
The serpentine belt pulley bearing on my Griff 500 is running rough and needs changing. I have replaced the same tensioner bearing on my Discovery which has a steel pulley quite easily, however the Griff pulley is plastic and I am unsure if the bearing can be removed without destroying the pulley. Anyone out there done this job? Would be interested to have some advice.
Hi,
I nearly replaced the bearing in mine last week, not because its noisey but because its in bits so thought id do some maintanance. Looking at it its held in place by the big washers, so it will just push out using a press. I wouldnt try tapping it out though, get it on a press,
