Are there any plans/times for the Saturday and Sunday - eg arrival time, a "drive out" etc? Anyone arranged a "how loud is your Griff" competition?

I'd say Saturday 11am onwards. There is no timetable this year, and there is no organised drive-out, as last years (on sunday morning, with about 18 cars), was a bit chaotic, with the other cars about.

I'll see if Rev-erend from the Wedgers will bring his decibel meter with him, but as he's only coming Saturday, we'd better sort that out Saturday afternoon.

I'm expecting Sunday to be THE day (as last year), and we have several stalls and dealers displaying, not to mention the special guests.

Barbq is Saturday night. I suspect we may end up in the pub afterwards, rather than the Hotel, especially if the wedding party are as ignorant as the lot the Wedgers had to put up with!

I can only make the Sunday (on hols on Sat), but it sounds like it may be the best day. Pity about any exhaust test, the competition at the BBWF last weekend was superb, specially Pistolar's car - made the ground shake. Intrigued who the special guests are.

I have got some runs out from last years Growl (from Gaydon but that is only down the road). If anyone wants to go then just get a group together and off you go. No formal groups have ben arranged. i would say keep it below 10 cars otherwise you'll struggle to keep together.

When you collect your shirt, I should have an arrival time for Sunday morning, if that will help. I think you'll kick yourself if you miss out.

I think I've got some on my system still. If you e-mail me I can send them and if you can distribute around the Friday night team. They are based on starting at Gaydon (last years venue) but you can easily pick up the route wherever. There is a Shell garage in Wellesbourne. Or wait until I get there (should be around 11 but Mrs FFG is always late). I'll tell her we need to be there at 10.
