Just a bit of a plea for help. Looking like my alternator voltage regulator has died at the ring. Please can anyone help with where I can get on locally please? Or a part number to start with?
Tvr griffith rover v8 serpentine engine.

I have a spare..... 500 miles away if anyone fancies delivering it 🤣 lol

Cheers for any help.

They might be friendly at the JLR test centre...

You could remove the regulator and brush-box to see if there is a brush sticking

Cheers boys, I'll wait for it to cool down and maybe pull it for a look. Battery light and ignition light stays on so its very not happy but made it to the hotel at least.

Disconnect the battery if the ignition light is staying on. I've just had a Chimaera in that was draining its battery overnight after a failed regulator. Then sods law it happened to my Chimaera 2 weeks later rolleyes

Auto Rega BV in the Netherlands have one in stock.

By the looks of it they’re 280km from the ‘Ring but if you’ve got a means of getting there, it might be worthwhile!

I trust you've got it sorted now since you were on track yesterday

Didn't see your post here until just now, although I'm not sure I'd have been able to help

Been a crazy couple of days but thanks to Teichman racing being amazing and Alanko parts sorting out an alternator for 95 euros after driving nearly an hour without charge lol
A few 1st deg burns and bloody knuckles later we got sorted.

I owe a few people pints. Thank you.

Awesome atmosphere and great people.

Ekhard is a top bloke. Speaks very good English and tries to help when he can.
Someone mentioned finding a L-Rover dealer, else an English speaking local may know of a motor factors?
