Marcos brought the GT2 along for us to look at and try for size, and David Gerald TVR brought their Sagaris for the same purpose.

A master stroke by Marcos, no doubt. A clever bit of thinking. The guy who brought that to a TVR meeting must be quite bold.

Mr Stelliga is a big fan of TVR's and the Griffith especially. I was invited (through a post on here, incidentally) to Marcos by EVO magazine (as it turned out, I had no prior knowledge at all), to give my opinion on the GT2, and got to drive the car and also the convertible. Tony also had a drive in our Griff.

I thought that the other Griff owners would like to have a closer look at the Marcos (especially in view of the number of posts re I want a V8 in my TVR), so on my head offered Marcos the chance to bring the car down for appraisal by Griffith Owners. Judging by the number of people trying both the GT2 and Sagaris out for size, I was right.

I have yet to hear of Mr Smolenski attending a TVR meet of any description, yet Mr. Stelliga flew over from Canada, and straight to the Growl from the airport to be there in person.

If I've upset either TVR or the TVRCC by asking Marcos to an event that I organised (along with Lorraine, Mr & Mrs FFG and Ballistic Banana), tough.

Not really - no one could get in it anyway unless they were a contortionist!!

I'm just over 6 foot and tried to get in the way I've always got into sports cars and just couldn't get my head in - in the end I asked and they said you have to go in head first!!

(and before anyone comments on the size of my head...I'll do it instead!!)

Says alot really, doesn't it.

My remark was certainly no criticism.

Mr Stelliga is obviously a keen businessman and car enthusiast. I thought he might have just tried to gatecrash a TVR meet to try to steal some custom. Fair play to him if this had been the case, rude or not.

Clearly he was there by mutual arrangement. Which is nice.

Bloody hell, I've got a Griffith and didn't even make this years Growl. If anything is rude, its this.

Can I just say a big Thank You! to all Growlers who attended the Griff Growl at the weekend and made us so welcome.

I apologise to all those whose cars I made look slightly less shiny than before but hope the nice new products they bought from us will make the rest of the car look as good!
See you all again at the BNG and C.R.E.A.M events and anyone who wants a polish job I'll be looking for a demo car again.
