Octane additive ??? ........Seasider(your views especially)

Seasider waved a bottle in the air as he went to fill up with MORE fuel at the TVR Monster meet where he was giving it large....

What was in this magical bottle ?????? (Octane booster I assume/was told)... make ????

What are the benifits????? How much is requierd a tank... does it work or is it in the head ??????

It worked for me in the past ... remember when super unleaded was 15p a litre more than standard stuff? It worked out cheaper to tip in a can of this per tank on top of 95 octane.

Without it, my car pinked on 95 - ok with the 98 or boosted 95

SUL is sometimes hard to get where I live, so the Griff lives on 95 RON + 50ml of Nitrous Formula booster (per tank).

With the current price difference (when I can get SUL) it works out much the same - unless we get a 5p/l token from the supermarket.

The octane booster also contains cleaning chemicals, which I'm sure is a marketing thing and does no real good. I prefer the hoon approach to engine cleaning
