Windscreen rubber falling off

What is the best type of sealant / adhesive to re-attach the rubber windscreen surround on my Griff? It has started to come awy from the screen at the top right just after the curved bit. Got a tiny bit of the dreaded milky effect, but barely noticeable...yet!

I'm not sure this is the best stuff to use, but this is what I used in for an identical problem to yours....

Yep that's a building sealant. It takes about a day to cure and the corners are a real pig to fix down if yours is anything like mine. I found cleaning out the affected area, putting a bead of the gunge in there then holding it in place with masking tape for 12 hours or so did the trick. Then a few final presses down with fingers and it all set okay.

Same gunge comes in useful elswhere on a Griff of course

I used Simoniz Seelastik from a local automotive shop on a recommendation, works really well as long as the glass and rubber are really dry beforehand. Didn't have any problems with it holding as it is pretty tacky - stuck to my hand very easily! You can clean up the edges with a damp cloth though.

Its lasted 6 months so far without any problems.

Many thanks for the recommendations - I'll try one of those then. On a point of interest, RAC Autowindscreens (and I'm an RAC member) were not at all helpfull, suggesting, 'find some glue (not specified!)to stick it down with'
