Alloy Dash & Rocker Covers

Has anyone got any photos of a brushed alloy dash. Not shiny or machined look but brushed. I like the traditional wood but am thinking of doing mine like this. :scratchchin:
Also if anyone has any black & shiny rocker covers they don't want, with the TVR logo on, I'd be happy to relieve you of them for a consideration. :thumbup:
I've got a 400SE but it's all relevant.

I had mine mine resprayed in black for very little money....

As an alternative,why not have your existing covers stripped,powder coated and polished?
It makes a hell of a difference!!

I had the rocker covers done a few years ago when the car was at the factory but,prior to that,I rang round a few metal finishers and the prices seemed quite reasonable.Leven also do them as well,I think

The plenum cover I had done at a local polishing company for about £40.I thought that was very reasonable given that they have to spend a lot of time grinding the casting down first, before they can start polishing.

I think they just set the engine bay off but each to their own!

Still 'umming & ahhing' about the car at the moment!!
I've been working away a lot recently,so this is my first period at home for a while (six weeks off )
I've eventually started having a clearout and stuck some bits on ebay,etc
Decision time's definitely looming!!

Damn they look good, so good in fact I've booked mine in to have the same fitted next week. Personally prefer this style to the machined or carbon fibre finish...can't wait for next weekend..!!!

I am looking to get my dashboard replaced over this winter - the original has become cracked and warped in my 11 year old Griff 500. I was initially keen to stick with a straight wood veneer replacement to keep the original look, but I'm a bit concerned that it might start falling to bits again like the old one.

Does anyone know if the cracking is down to the original materials used in the factory, and a different type of veneer might last longer? If the thing is going to self destruct every few years, I'd be tempted to go for alu, carbon fibre etc.
