Rear light(s) wanted

I'm having a helluva job getting an offside rear light cluster to match the original nearside. The bodyshop has bought a Cav GSi pre-facelift light from Vauxhall, but the colour of the reversing light is clear as opposed to smoked.

So I need one of the following;

An offside with smoked reverse lens OR

A pair of matching rear lights (smoked or clear) OR

A nearside with clear reverse lens (to match the new offside - these are not available from Vaux anymore).


Please bear in mind that the lights are upside down with respect to Cav i.e. nearside Cav = Offside Griff

Anyone help?

Smoked ones are difficult to come by. The clear ones you should be able to pick up for a few quid each at any tat yard - and you can see what you getting. Main thing is the lips holding the bulb holder in place - check they're not cracked or broken. If you get one for a tat yard make sure you get the connector and about 6 inches of wire.

Grifter - if RG500 doesn't want them I am looking for some smoked GSI's (had a shunt in the Griff by a BMW during TVRCC 'Chasing Dragons' run). I am resigning myself to getting clear lights and spray/lacquer applied to get the smoked effect! Cheers, Paul.

Bought a pair of ebay couple of weeks back - perfect though I had to file the inside corners slightly - took about 10 mins per light.

Some on there now - worth a look
