Final Griff Headlights

Does anyone know the make and part number of the larger headlights fitted to the final production run of Griffs? Also, did TVR use a modified version of the original light housing pod or mould a completely new one? I've got to do something about my existing lights on my '95 griff as they are of the 'misted' variety (who knows why they were fitted), and I currently can't drive the car at any kind of speed on dipped headlights.

have you tried taking them off and cleaning them, or fitting some 100 W jobbers?

You can change just the perspex covers, if that's the problem. However, you'll need to inside the front wings and take the whole pod out on each side. As well as the new perspex bits (I got mine from Tower View) you'll need some sticky black sealant, old clothes (because it gets everywhere), meths to clean off the mess, lots of patience and ideally a helper too.

NB Why don't they make glass covers? They'd be much clearer and less likely to scratch.

..or quick release instead of 1 hr to get all sealant off & 2 hrs to put it back ?!
