Full beam issues

Hi

I am having an issue with the full beam indicator stalk. Its acting like the connections are really close together, so will randomly flick on the full beam when I indicate and sometimes going over a bump!

i've just moved house so the griff bible is lost for the moment!

is this an easy fix...to swap the switch maybe ?

Try Checking the earth connections first, I had flicking light driver side light and indicator flickering(and no not like they are supposed to ).
The earth that was loose was the one under the Rad drivers side that bolts the body to the Chassis. You can see and access it through the Air intake in the nose

Can't find anything about this in the bible GC.
Searched through How to ... / Steering Column ... / Indicator ... / H (for High Beam) / Windscreen Wiper ... / Steering Column ... And the entire Index from A - Z !
So, although its probably absolutely no consolation, I'm not sure the bible would have helped (hush my mouth)

If anyone can find this, I will not only stand corrected, I will remove this thread as a tribute to Steve's brilliant work.

Don't suppose you ever resolved this issue ?? I have exactly the same problem. I'm guessing you needed a new stalk ? If so, where did you get one from ?

Stalk's a 89-95 (ish) Cavalier item, saloon preferably (no rear wash wipe). Try ebay or a breaker.
