Track rod ends, 98 Griff 500 ?

Some of the ones that are about have a larger body (the actual ball joint part). This makes the correct front camber adjustment only just achievable. In fact ideally on my car I still need to move the tops in slightly at the correct ride height. The only way I can see to do this is to grind 2-3mm off the wishbone. So when you find a supplier with some in stock ask if they actually fit. Mine came mail order from a main dealer, but apparently they weren’t sourced from the factory. May be completely wrong but I have the feeling they are a Sabb part.

Steve , are we talking upper ball joints or track rod ends?

Sorry, I'm from Wiltshire so a bit simple. Got new top ball joints last year from David Gerald mail order, fitted no prob.

Trackrods ends are common to MK 2 Escorts. Mine cost £8.50 each from my local friendly motor factors.

He said if I ever have a problem getting the part just quote the number QR 1384, all parts suppliers should recognise this.
