manifold bolt

Sorry, boring question. What is the bolt size that holds the exhaust manifold to the head? One of mine is missing, want to get the right one.

ps, new Griff picked up today, seems to go quite fast! The steering is a bit lively on bumpy roads, is that normal? The directional stability is not particularly good on B roads, it follows the cambers and bumps about.

Think it's 3/8 UNC by about an inch, but I can check tomorrow if you want.

Green V8S is spot on.

Bolts are 3/8 UNC x 1'' long, and the spanner size is a 9/16.

Don't forget your spring/split washer though.

Yes, those sizes are correct. Incidentally, www.tvrcarparts.com do a nice set of stainless replacement bolts with a reduced M10 K head. I've got mixed views on the suitability of stainless steel for this application (in my case it is OK because I've got steel thread inserts) but they are far far easier to fit than the oiginals.
