Car is in for a service on 10th Dec .... with the following toys added
ACT induction kit (Diff air filter and smooth bore pipes to plenum)
ACT carbonfibre flutted trumpets in the plenum
Fuel injectors as supplied by V8Developments (same as Mark Adams recommended change)
Ohhhhhh what am expecting on results....... ( without lokking at r.r. figures)
That lot is best part of £750........ I hope its worth it

what about a ECU remap??? or are you hoping the extra air from the induction mods will off set the extra fuel from the injectors? surely you'll need a remap to get it running correctly.. if not any increase must be small?
Nope cost does not include servicing, just the parts listed.
The fuel injectors are not for more fuel, but for a better pattern of spray to try and stop the formation of large globules of fuel.
The induction and trumpets is to get more air in, as the 4.3 Griffs tend to overfuel alot....

I have followed your car one the way to the Growl this year, and I know what you mean!!
I'm not saying the car would in anyway be worse, but surely to optimise and get 'max power' from these changes a remap must be on the cards? either way good luck and have fun
Had all the goodies fitted..........

Spent 4hrs out in it today....... car is lot more responsive, at seems a lot quicker through the mid range revs.......
only problem I now have is irratic idling keeps dipping from 1000 rpm to 750 rpm n back.....
wonder if this down to the goodies or something else got knocked.

without a remap, the improved air/fueling will affect the idle. after 10secs the ecu will adjust this to hit its idle set (either 750 or 1000?) any movement of car, throttle, sensor etc will return it to actual level. no problem if its doesn't stall.
alternatively, ther COULD be a small airleak, and the ecu setting is compensating for this after 10secs.
remap will sort this.
