Air Filter and Drive Belt

just going down the route of ordering all the parts for my forthcoming service.I was wondering if any other manufacturers like K&N for example,make a filter element for the standard griff 500 airbox?Also does anybody know the size of the serp belt for a car with aircon and pas please?(i cant quite make the writing out on the back of mine).Cheers,Mike

Don’t know about the Air Filter but I got a new drive belt from TMS for less than £15 including VAT, postage etc. So I’d try them first, your also more likely to get the correct one.

I read on 'General Gossip' recently that TMS are closing down so you could try TVR Gear for your belt. As far as I know K&N don't make an 'off the shelf' Filter but I can confirm the above thread info that Tim at ACT does get batches of specials made up by K&N - so contact him.
I bought mine as part of an Induction Kit so I don't know if he will supply the Filter on it's own or how much it would be.

Cheers Lindsay,thanks for the e-mails also.Alternative make belts seem to be coming up more expensive than the tvr item at my local motorfactors.As i dont have a dealer/indie near me i wanted to find an easier source,but at £28 for an alternative i think i'd rather mail for an original!

I acquired a K&N air filter from ACT for my 430. On a dyno the difference in power between the filter connected and the whole line up to the air flow meter being disconnected, was negligible. And mine has the original spiral ductwork!
