I know one of you is going to spot this on the Porsche forum so I may as well come clean
"Thinking of getting back into a Porsche.I've had a few before (964C4/993Targa/996C4S)but, given where TT prices are going,I feel I should now try the 'full fat' blown experience
My Griff is pretty well known and very sorted - have a look at my profile.
I fancy a change but frankly can't really be bothered with all the bullshit and cost of making the change via the TVR and Porsche dealers.I also don't have the time or patience for private sale tyre kickers!
My Griff is worth about £30K and I'm looking for a black Turbo with a good history -drop me an email if you've got one and fancy a change.

Not trying to be negative or nasty but......Do you really think your car is worth 30k.?Or more to the point do you think someone else will give you £30k for it?.Whilst it has been sensibly upgraded and fettled and looks like a very nice pampered Griff I should of thought the price was a bit optimistic.No doubt the people who know you and the car will be on to say that they would give you your asking price(if they had the money ).Just an observation really and there are still griffs in dealers that haven't sold since I bought mine back in February.THe market does seem a bit indifferent for Griffs and Chims at the moment and I'm sure you will get a "higher than market value" price for your car if you sell it (but not for a Porker ......please!)

The car is well known,in fantastic condition,has a great original spec and the numerous performance/cosmetic upgrades are all well established and accepted (in total they would alone cost you around £10K).
In my experience there is always somebody out there that is prepared to pay for a great example of a classic car such as the Griff - it's really just a question of us finding each other.I'm in no hurry to change and will go with the flow
I've had a number of Porsches before and although they don't give you the same raw thrills as the Griff they really are fine cars in their own right.
Hope you enjoy your Griff as much as I did mine.

Ahh, I seeee. Now it makes sense. Must admit I keep thinking about getting a caterham (wouldn't sell my Griff tho'

The thing I will miss the most about owning a Griff/TVR will be the people I've met/talked to whilst I've had it.I've been in and out of a lot of performance cars in my time but I can honestly say that I've never before come across such a bunch of great owners/enthusiasts.Knowing you all has really added a huge extra dimension to my ownership of the car.Thank you.
Sorry to hear your selling Tiny, thats one of the finest looking Griffs IMHO along with Apaches old one, Both great colours and interesting upgrades .
Often think the same myself and then go for a spin and realise ther eprobably isnt too much out there that for me has the same sort of package. The only thing that would pull me away is an Ultima
or maybe Cerb when I become older and have kids 
Hopefully you will return to the fold oneday

Do you really want to sell it? I have a deposit down on an AMV8 but come what may I won't be selling 'Grizzly' I can't think of another convertiable I rather have than a Griffith 500. Rich...I had thoughts of selling, since the "mods" i will be keeping it. Nice to see healthy £ figures bounced around though. I now have an urge for a Bentley Turbo R, i drove one around New Zealand a few years ago and fell in love. When the turbo "whispered" the arse sat down, the bonnet seemed to point skywards and away we went. I have always enjoyed "contrasts" the Rangie,the Griff, the Acadyiane,so maybe the Rangie has to go. Just not sure of whether its "class" or a bit "naff", i suppose i should just please the heart and not worry what folk think.

buy the "coffin" keep the Griff
...you can afford it!
BTW. Tiny's Griff is probably the best all rounder...around.
Excellent condition, unusual but beautiful colour, good spec, sensibly tweaked.
