Door interior corner trim rubbers

Anyone on here replaced these?I thought i'd sikaflex my new ones on today,as i've been getting fed up with seeing them on the bedside cabinet!Anyway,come to do the job and i coildn't believe just how badly fitting they are.I might as well have started off with a chunk of rubber and stanley knife.Gave in before i started,now i'm sat here having a pint,contemplating wheather im missing something,or if you can get a more accurately fitting part possibly,do they vary?

Made me wince reading your post - stuck the craft knife into my finger twice whilst "carefully re-shaping" the little b@st@rds: Genuiine tvr replacements but looked like they were designed to fit a Scania......

Got there eventually - patience and elastoplasts....in equal quantities

Hi, am reliably informed that the best way to refit these is to superglue them in place with superglue "gel" then black mastic around them to finish them off neatly. Have one to do when I can find it so will check it out.
Sounds logical.

I secured mine with sixaflex - held in place with gaffer tape until set. But that was refitting old ones, not new ones.
