Electrical gremlins on stored griff.

Have just had my Griffith 500 delivered back too me after it’s had a very long break away at TVR Power for a engine rebuild, unfortunately I was taken ill the week after I dropped it into Power, they had the car a very long time (14 months), it’s now back but I have few minor electrical issues to sort out.

The electric window is stuck halfway down, not had a look into the problem yet but wondering if anyone has a idea of what could be causing the problem??? It’s there any relays in the system or just the switch?

Also one if the main beam lights isn’t working but guessing this could be a bulb or bad connection.

No relays in the window system unless it's been modified. Most likely is probably a corroded connector - same for the main beam.

Windows wiring connectors most prone to problems are behind the carpet by the door hinges inside the car, and inside the door itself. If no joy, then you might need to strart looking at the switches themselves, and there's another connector behind the switch panel. Bit of a pain to gain access though, so look elsewhere first.

Cheers Griffter, turned out to be a poor connection at the motor, I'll trim the wire back to good wire and replace the terminals while I can get to it. Think I'll need a new lamp for the MOT as the glass is cracked anyway.
