Low Coolant Temperature

The temperature gauge on my 2000 Griffith 500 only reaches 65°C when the engine is fully warmed up.

Is this anything to worry about?

Do you think that it is worth replacing the thermostat?

Yes. If the engine is really running that cold then it will be running far too rich. If it's caused by a dead stat you may also find that it overheats in the summer. Could just be a gauge/sender fault, but if the temperature really is that low you need to get it fixed.
