I am about to ask a dealer to fit the Steve Heath droplinks and Powerflex poly bushes. Anything else I should get done or checked while its in the shop ?
Just had this done on mine by Indie. He also reinforced the brackets holding the drop links. Then a full geometery check. The bushes were a right b****d to do, so if you pay dealer prices could cost you a lot of money.
Yep, second that reply re time & costs if not prepared for them to be high. "Couple of days labour" may not be excessive
Your not wrong - suspension bushes inc labour £1000. Question is would the age of the car matter more than the mileage ? do the original bushes perish or wear out ? what has the most effect, age or use ?

Just had the rear end done last week. Shotblasted and repair cracks, upgrade top wishbone to Mk2 (additional cross piece to add additional strength), all painted with 2 coats of POR15 (supplied by me), new poly bushes (supplied by me), new diff bushes (supplied by me), new gearbox mounts, Steve Heath droplinks fitted (supplied by me), new nuts, bolts, washers, nylocs (as appropriate), camber etc reset, all for under £900. Local well respected indie so I know he's done a good job.
