Demon Tweeks sell 'em, and I would think that most tyre fitters would stock or be able to get them. Having seen how corroded the rims were at the valve hole on mine when I stripped them, I opted for short rubber types. Not as nice looking, but they do seal better and at least I can get further behind the valve when cleaning / polishing. And I did discover that I had one original metal valve of smaller diameter than all the others, so had to open out the hole in the rim to suit.

I bought some of these for mine

on the fronts, the curve of the rim meant that I had to remove the outer washer from the valve.
No leaks so far

Been chatting today with a well known local specialist in wheels/tyres on sports cars.....
I suggested that a few people had fitted the front valves without the external washers.....he was not happy with that and started on about centrigual forces etc
I'm off to see him tommorrow morning... and will let you know what his views are.

FFG..... I know there is theory and then there is the praticality of living in the real world, but I aint no expert here (infact I am not in anything 
so I just want to get it right. After your post here I remembered you posted on valves some time back and it went over my head at the time, I had no idea what your post was on about back then as I did not understand the issue. I do now
Spent about 30 mins discussing valves, the pros n cons of each type....
... as i said in previous post that the chap I went to see seemed to have a few issues with not fitting the external washer..... and he still maintains that only with a certain type of valve being fitted to the wheels.......
anyway we did not go for that valve because it was little on the flimsey side and prone to being snapped easily.... albeit it was the neatest looking one, we have gone for a short valve with a big rear seat so that no front washer are required.....
so problem is solved hopefully booked in on Tuesday to get them fitted.

They've been fine. You can't fit the washer on the front anyway. Also they are the same as the rubber valve except the rubber top piece is replaced with metal. There is still rubber which connects it to the tyre.
Hope they work OK cos ours do.

Oh I hate this medium at times..... can't convy thanks and other opinion without it sounding citisising..

Not taking in the wrong vein, just healthy debate.
Hope they're OK. As said ours are fine - no leaks other than the usual going down gradually over time.
