I have an intermittent rev counter on my griff 500. It does work every now and then, but mainly not. Any ideas as to what is the problem? sensor, rec counter itself etc!!!!
The tacho gets its signal from the -ve side of the coil so the spade connector on there would be the first thing to check.

Ermmm. Have you got a multimeter so you can do a continuity check between the coil lead and the one behind the tacho?. Sounds like a dash out job unfortunately. Also worth checking the ground for the gauges as well.
