removing front indicator lenses

That depends if you want to reuse them, they are bonded in so a hard firm push with a mallet shaft will dislodge them.
Howver, this may break the lense.
The passenger side is accessible from the lower grill.
The drivers side is a headlight access panel job.

Thanks Antony, I have both headlight pods out, [ doing a major repair] do you mean to push from inside the fitting?

I mean push from the outside, it may seem like they are fixed really well but they will go.

But if you have the pods out then maybe try and cut some of the mastic from around the indicator first. With the pods out it should be a simple job..

They actually fit from the engine side and not the outside as I thought when I changed the first one - no wonder it was a bitch to get out. You could try and cut the silicon (if there is any) first but be very very careful not to cut into the paint - suggest lots of mastic tape to protect and do it very slowly.
I used a rag covering the lens and hit it progressively harder with a rubber mallet which broke the seal and it came out easily after that. Take the bulb holder out and unscrew the back piece beforE you start lamping it as not to break anything else.
