The father in law (mechanic) had a look under the Yellow One this afternoon looking for an oil drip.
Found the culprit, the oil light sender/sensor jobbie just above the oil filter.
While underneath he also noticed a cracked bottom suspension arm just in front of the bottom weld, about 2mm wide and 25mm across bottom but the side part is still solid.
Had a rather spirited drive last sunday on the oxfordshire meet and hit a bloody big pothole on way home, I guess this did the damage as it was a hell of a bang.
It gets worse... he also noticed BOTH drop links on front ARB had snapped
Where can I get a new front nearside bottom suspension arm/wishbone and what do they cost. FIL will fit and I'm his spanner monkey.
Better put in some new drop links too does steve heath sell his new special ones direct..?

Wishbone is TVR (ie dealer) and was about £60 when I bought one in '04. It comes with bushes fitted which saves messing about with replacement.

TVR Car Parts (.com ) and for my '92 pre-cat it was £95.36 when I bought it in Feb. (OSF is the same price) and they come with new bushes fitted. It's not a difficult job to do but you might want to look at the 3 bolts which attach it to the hub and get new ones because they hold water and rust.

Sorted Steve thanks, it was me you spoke to on phone about problem with Bank Comms details etc. Very helpful thanks.

Does anyone know anything about the Bottom ball joints checked the forums but there seem to be a few conflicting answers.
Will they be the Lada ones or can I get info from Griff parts list that BB kindly shared with us.
Also has anyone replaced the oil light sensor above the oil filter is it a RR part if so a part number would be very helpful.
