Battery location and start up advice needed for a friend

Hi,
My mate has just bought a Griffith today from Dvid Gerald TVR, His battery is flat already!!!! He doesnt know where the battery is, he thinks it may be in the boot as he cant open that. His doors and bonnet are openable. I thought it may be where it is on my Tuscan, under a wheel arch. He is the other side of the country so I cant see it myself. Obviously he cant either start it up....could anyone provide any help please? its a w reg by the way

Pull the vertical flap down right where the passengers feet go, and there it is.

Its in the passenger footwell right behind where the passengers feet lie. Pull the carpeting back and the battery/wiring and fuse/relays will be revealed.

Its a bit of a ball ache getting it out as you need to undo two bolts underneath the car that keep the battery box in place.

I'd suggest charging it up first and trying to bring it back to life before your mate tucks into replacing it.

I told him to get himself a Computer before he buys a Tiv but he wouldnt listen!!! He hasnt even got a garage!! I told him I'm not gonna be a mug and post for him on PH every time something goes wrong!!
'spoke to DG today and they're "baffled" I told him thats the exhaust not the battery!!bumbum!
They are footing the bill for another garage to do the job as he's too far away from them, he also said its not the battery now, its just not turning over. He's also stumped as he lives in South Cumbria and doesnt know where to take it to get it fixed!!doh!

probably both but most griff owners use garages. I don't and find my car cover great at the moment. 50 squid from halfords. does the job and protects paint and keeps rain off the hood plus pulling it off to reveal a griff underneath is a pleasure
