Anyone found a source for Griffith clutches that is not at dealer prices ?
I only need to replace the driven plate, as the sprung cover is fine, but with the engine out is seems a logical raplacement as it has done 50k+, and although there is probably planty of miles left on it ... better safe than sorry.
I'll do the release bearing at the same time ...
Previous advice has always been not to go with anything other than OE, but it seems to me with the right part number and the right source then you don't need to go through the dealer network ..

They list for Griff 500, although the spec says only rated at 270 lbft.
Mines a Green Spring version, more torque capacity. The list of dealers is useful.
