new clutch fitted

finally finished this morning putting everything back together after fitting a new clutch, not to bad a job if you have a nice big garage and a nice ramp which lets you stand under the car, but little old me was flat on my back in the pouring rain for most of saturday struggling with bolts that must have previously been done up the cousin of Hurcules from the planet torque wrench!
the worst bolts were the ones connecting the bell housing to the back of the engine , if it wasn`t for the fact that I had split the gearbox from the bell housing for easier access ect,then I `m certain that they would still be there now.
lunchtime today, took it for a test drive , roof down, foot down, big smiles,all the agro was well worthh it, in all it probably took me 15 hours over 2 days, but if it was n`t raining on saturday and I wasn`t under the illusion that I was part duck, I reckon it could be done in a good day, or if you`ve a big garage and a ramp probably half that again!

I`ll certainly be spending the saved dosh on fuel as I`m off to south wales for a week this friday!
bought the clutch from tvr car parts, they were out off stock but got one sent out same day from tvr power, excellent service.
thanks for all the advice, don`t know what we`d do without these forums!
